- Assess existing data storage, processing, and sharing practices to determine gaps in compliance.
Requirement Gathering and Documentation
- Collaborate with the client’s CCPA/CPRA core team to understand compliance goals and challenges.
- Elicit and document functional and non-functional requirements related to data privacy.
- Translate data analysis findings into actionable insights and detailed reports for stakeholders.
Gap Analysis and Remediation Planning
- Conduct gap analysis to identify non-compliant practices or areas of risk.
- Recommend solutions to address compliance gaps, including changes to policies, processes, or technology.
- Prepare detailed remediation plans and track their implementation progress.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Act as a liaison between the client’s compliance team and technical teams.
- Provide regular updates on analysis outcomes and project milestones.
- Support training and awareness initiatives related to data privacy and CCPA/CPRA compliance.
Regulatory Knowledge and Adherence
- Stay updated on changes to CCPA/CPRA regulations and other related data privacy laws.
- Ensure that all analyses and recommendations align with the latest regulatory requirements.
